Engine Exhaust Temperature and Wake Velocity Distribution

The below graphic shows the Engine Exhaust Temperature and Wake Velocity Distribution for the Pratt & Whittney TF30-P-412 engines as used in the F-14A. The diagrams for the General Electric F110-GE-400 (F-14B & D) are only slighty different due to the increased thrust. Also, the Engine Inlet Hazard Area for the F110 engines is increased to 40 ft.
At high thrust settings, the suction danger area around the engine inlets may extend as far as 4 ft aft of the inlet duct lower lip.
